I was born in Chicago and moved to Ohio when I was 8. I wanted to go back to the city for college but financially it made more sense to stay in Ohio. Now, I am a student at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio dressing like a student who takes the subway to class.
I love fashion (the most important in my mind). Ever since I was young I have been a picky dresser. My mom started it really, so blame her. She always dressed me up in what was basically infant Prada of the '90s, and had matching bows to boot. As I grew older, I started to develop my own style. It started off slowly with a few pieces at a time that were only worn in my room in front of the mirror, and then it grew to have a whole closetful of clothes that gets me wired like a hot cup of coffee. Some get off on '57 Chevys and screaming guitars, I get off on a pair of Louboutin heels.
I love sales, deal, finds, etc. Despite the fact that I'm in college and am thusly living on a college budget, I still want to look fabulous. I wanted to create this blog to fill the niche for girls and students like me. I have a knack for scoping out sales the way a pig scopes out truffles. There are so many other fashion blogs (which by the way I love!) which are perfect for women with bigger budgets. I want to create big city looks for a small town price.
