Ok, so.  I love this outfit and I was so excited to wear it today because the weather here was actually quite nice.  I was really working it when I slipped down a hill and got everything extremely muddy.  Not only was I disappointed about my muddy outfit, but now I have an extra amount of laundry to do.  YAY! (said with the largest amount of sarcasm known to man).

Otherwise it was a good day.

So, I love my yellow pants.  Some people may like them, some may hate them, but I love them so that's all that matters.  I was going to wear this outfit all day until I remembered that I had sorority composites today.  Unfortunately I had to change out of my button-down and blazer, but I left my yellow pants on :)  The guy taking my picture told me that my nail polish and pants matched and that they reminded him of a CAT bulldozer.  Hmmmm... obviously taking sorority girls' pictures was not his ideal job (or was it? dun dun dun)

Busy busy busy week.  I'm sure I'm not the only one. 

Can I just say I love how skinny a pair of boyfriend jeans makes me feel.  The amazing feeling when your jeans are baggy so you feel like your thighs are trim and toned.

Ok, if there is no cohesion in this post it is mostly because I am writing this while my roommate is talking very loudly and someone outside is screaming, so...... It turns out I'm not the queen on multitasking.  I can't concentrate and type at the same time.  AHHHHH.

So, while I am posting this I am also writing a paper for my Dance in the 20th Century class.  I would say that is some pretty good multitasking.  If I have learned nothing after four years of college, I will at least be able to multitask like a boss.

Sorry for not posting lately but to make up for it... I'm going to double scoop it for ya.  Two for the price of one.  I've been very busy with recruitment and homework that piled up as a result of recruitment.  These pictures are also not the greatest because of my lack of time.  I know, I know... I shouldn't make excuses.

So today is not a fashion post because life is not all about fashion (even though fashion is really great),  This post is about the wonders of friendship.  Despite all the cheesiness in the last sentence, friends are very important in my life.  They are there for you no matter what.  Through the good and the bad.  They want the best for you even when you can't imagine what that best is. 

These girls in my life mean a lot to me and I can't imagine what college would be like without them.  I just want to thank them for helping me and understanding me (especially for not looking at me weird when I told them I wanted to start a fashion blog).  So, I want to say a big "Thank you" to some of the most amazing girls I have ever met.

Gotta Get Down on Friday

It's Friday, Friday!!  I can't even begin to explain how excited this makes me.  I wasn't able to post yesterday because I had class from 2:10-3:40 and then dance rehearsals from 4:00-8:00.  If there was hadly enough time for me to eat, there was no way there would have been enough time for me to take pictures and post them. 

Today I was really loving the warm-and-cozy scarf and sweater look.  It snowed like crazy in the evening yesterday.  It took a lot for me to leave my heated blanket and venture out into the cold unknown.

(P.S did you notice that I didn't wear heels today?  I'm learning!  That must be why I'm in college; I'm a quick learner)

blast from the past

So... I felt like wearing a jumpsuit today.  So sue me.  My thinking today went as follows:  "I want to be comfortable, but I want to be fashionable.  I also want to look like a 90s weightlifting video."  Hence the jumpsuit with a Zubaz print.  Don't hate.


(P.S.  It was freezing out today so thats why my face radiates uncomfort)

Dots Dots Everywhere

Rainy and a little gross today, but not super cold like yesterday or the day before.  We have sorority recruitment tonight so I'm probably going to have another post for that outfit but I can't be sure if I'll fall asleep before then (chances are my sweater and skirt set will probably be my pajamas).  Other than the fact that I'm going to be too busy to eat tonight, I'm pretty excited.  We'll see how it goes.  I'm already planning my dress for preference day and my outfit for bid day, so yeah you could say I'm excited.
