The Big 1-9

It's my birthday. Enough said.

Today has been a very lazy day, despite my best efforts to dress as adorably as possible.  I only had time for a quick photoshoot today and only one picture turned out okay.  Trust me, this outfit was much cuter in person.

As I am typing this I am realizing that I miss my parents more and more.  College life is very difficult, especially on your emotions.  I can't wait until they come on Friday.

If my posting is a little slow this week it is most likely as a result of my 2 exams and birthday celebrations.  I hope you're understanding.

Hipster all the way baby

Yeah, I know I own it.  The hipster glasses made me feel like a nerd and definitely helped me ace my Calculus exam.  Dress well, test well.  Nothing puts me in a better mood than knowing that I am on my game academically, socially, and every other kind of "ally" out there. 

I will admit while looking at these pictures that my plaid shirt is a little too baggy for my AE sweater, but I don't really care (see first paragraph for explanation).  In addition, yes, I am wearing pleather leggings.


T-minus 14 days until my birthday.  Get ready.

Happy Groundhog's Day to all!  It's once again a beautiful day.  If this is winter, I would be happy to have plenty more of it  (keep it coming Phil). 

So, I found this skirt in my closet safety-pinned to a shirt as a makeshift dress.  I figured I would demote it back to a skirt because I sold some of my cute skirts yesterday (did I mention I made $37?) 

There is so much going on in my life right now and I am so happy for most of it, excluding homework, test, quizzes, etc.  I would love to get to know my readers better and hear what you have to say, so if you are so inclined, feel free to comment on this post or any post.  If you have any questions, I am more than happy to answer any of them.  I really just want to share my joy  (I'm on the cheesy train, I know).

Ok, so.  I love this outfit and I was so excited to wear it today because the weather here was actually quite nice.  I was really working it when I slipped down a hill and got everything extremely muddy.  Not only was I disappointed about my muddy outfit, but now I have an extra amount of laundry to do.  YAY! (said with the largest amount of sarcasm known to man).

Otherwise it was a good day.

Gotta Get Down on Friday

It's Friday, Friday!!  I can't even begin to explain how excited this makes me.  I wasn't able to post yesterday because I had class from 2:10-3:40 and then dance rehearsals from 4:00-8:00.  If there was hadly enough time for me to eat, there was no way there would have been enough time for me to take pictures and post them. 

Today I was really loving the warm-and-cozy scarf and sweater look.  It snowed like crazy in the evening yesterday.  It took a lot for me to leave my heated blanket and venture out into the cold unknown.

(P.S did you notice that I didn't wear heels today?  I'm learning!  That must be why I'm in college; I'm a quick learner)

blast from the past

So... I felt like wearing a jumpsuit today.  So sue me.  My thinking today went as follows:  "I want to be comfortable, but I want to be fashionable.  I also want to look like a 90s weightlifting video."  Hence the jumpsuit with a Zubaz print.  Don't hate.


(P.S.  It was freezing out today so thats why my face radiates uncomfort)

its a brand new day

It is so cold out today!  I though it wouldn't be that bad because it looked nicer than the past two days.  I'm currently going through sorority recruitment so that is my excuse for not posting yesterday or the day before.  My leggings photographed very weird but trust me that they are cuter in person!
