I woke up this morning and it was snowing!  Quite a surprise.  Therefore, leaving my electric blanket was even more difficult than it usually is.

Not much else to report on this wonderful Witt Wednesday.  Sorry for being boring. 

I've recently been getting a couple of comments on my posts and that certainly makes my day!  I LOVE (and yes in this case, I am screaming with the uppercase) hearing from all those reading my blog.  I hope to keep hearing from all of you in the future.  Thank you!

So what if it's a Saturday?  I wanted to wear heels.  Earlier today I had a master class with a modern dance company in Cincinnati and it was rough.  I wanted to reward myself for such an intense day, so I pampered myself by dressing cute and doing my hair all fancy-like.

The weather is starting to turn sour.  I guess all good things have to come to an end.

Good day, big smile.  Not only did I have to opportunity to wear heels today because of the amazing 55 degree weather today, but I also made $37 selling some old clothes!  I must be butter 'cause I'm on a roll.

I am so happy with everything that's happening right now and I can't wait to see how it continues.  My birthday is officially in 16 days, so from now on there will be an attempt made by me to countdown until the "best day of the year". 

If anyone wants to know what to get me, this is what I'll tell 'em:  "I want to see my wonderful family and have an amazing day with them."  Cheesy, but very true.

Ok, so.  I love this outfit and I was so excited to wear it today because the weather here was actually quite nice.  I was really working it when I slipped down a hill and got everything extremely muddy.  Not only was I disappointed about my muddy outfit, but now I have an extra amount of laundry to do.  YAY! (said with the largest amount of sarcasm known to man).

Otherwise it was a good day.

So, I love my yellow pants.  Some people may like them, some may hate them, but I love them so that's all that matters.  I was going to wear this outfit all day until I remembered that I had sorority composites today.  Unfortunately I had to change out of my button-down and blazer, but I left my yellow pants on :)  The guy taking my picture told me that my nail polish and pants matched and that they reminded him of a CAT bulldozer.  Hmmmm... obviously taking sorority girls' pictures was not his ideal job (or was it? dun dun dun)

Sorry for not posting lately but to make up for it... I'm going to double scoop it for ya.  Two for the price of one.  I've been very busy with recruitment and homework that piled up as a result of recruitment.  These pictures are also not the greatest because of my lack of time.  I know, I know... I shouldn't make excuses.

Gotta Get Down on Friday

It's Friday, Friday!!  I can't even begin to explain how excited this makes me.  I wasn't able to post yesterday because I had class from 2:10-3:40 and then dance rehearsals from 4:00-8:00.  If there was hadly enough time for me to eat, there was no way there would have been enough time for me to take pictures and post them. 

Today I was really loving the warm-and-cozy scarf and sweater look.  It snowed like crazy in the evening yesterday.  It took a lot for me to leave my heated blanket and venture out into the cold unknown.

(P.S did you notice that I didn't wear heels today?  I'm learning!  That must be why I'm in college; I'm a quick learner)

blast from the past

So... I felt like wearing a jumpsuit today.  So sue me.  My thinking today went as follows:  "I want to be comfortable, but I want to be fashionable.  I also want to look like a 90s weightlifting video."  Hence the jumpsuit with a Zubaz print.  Don't hate.


(P.S.  It was freezing out today so thats why my face radiates uncomfort)

Lesson Learned

So, I learned a very important lesson today.  No it didn't have anything to do with the apparant stellar motion of stars or the derivative the the number e.  Wear sensible shoes.  Seems simple, no.  Wrong.  I got dressed today thinking I would be completely fine with my high-heeled lace up ankle boots.  Wrong again. 

Let's review.

1.  What should you do when it's the apocalypse?

            Answer: Wear sensible shoes

2. What should you do if you're being chased by blood-thirsting vampires?

            Answer: Wear sensible shoes (but if one of them is cute...)

3.  What should you do when you wake up and look out the window and see there is snow on the ground and the sidewalks are icy and you have to walk up a hill to get to class?

            Answer: Wear sensible shoes
