cute nerd

It's official.... I'm a nerd.  Last night I was up until 3 in the morning, studying.  I stayed in the library so long that they eventually kicked me out.  I finished a 6 page paper due on Monday in about an hour thanks to my grande Mocha.  Yeah, I pretty much the stereotypical college student.  Oddly enough, even though I was studying for most of the night, I had a pretty fun Witt Wednesday.  It probably could be more defined as a silly Witt Wednesday.

In regards to my lovely outfit today, I decided I'm a cute nerd.  I'm also not a very common sensical nerd because it is rather chilly outside today.  I guess it's my flaws that make me so darn cute.



Have you heard that it's only 8 days until my birthday?  You haven't?  Well now you have.

Valentine's Day

Once again, a beautiful day.  My only complaints about a beautiful day, its harder to take pictures during my normal picture-taking time.  I'll take it though.

I know it's not Valentine's Day, but this outfit was screaming out to me in my closet and who am I to deny an outfit from being worn.  I've recently been obsessed with the red-pink combination, partly because it's the season and partly because it's very "in" right now.

This week is going to be another crazy one.  I am hoping that my shoulder, which I injured a few days ago at a master class, will heal quickly so I don't add more obstacles to my list.

Hipster all the way baby

Yeah, I know I own it.  The hipster glasses made me feel like a nerd and definitely helped me ace my Calculus exam.  Dress well, test well.  Nothing puts me in a better mood than knowing that I am on my game academically, socially, and every other kind of "ally" out there. 

I will admit while looking at these pictures that my plaid shirt is a little too baggy for my AE sweater, but I don't really care (see first paragraph for explanation).  In addition, yes, I am wearing pleather leggings.


T-minus 14 days until my birthday.  Get ready.

Lesson Learned

So, I learned a very important lesson today.  No it didn't have anything to do with the apparant stellar motion of stars or the derivative the the number e.  Wear sensible shoes.  Seems simple, no.  Wrong.  I got dressed today thinking I would be completely fine with my high-heeled lace up ankle boots.  Wrong again. 

Let's review.

1.  What should you do when it's the apocalypse?

            Answer: Wear sensible shoes

2. What should you do if you're being chased by blood-thirsting vampires?

            Answer: Wear sensible shoes (but if one of them is cute...)

3.  What should you do when you wake up and look out the window and see there is snow on the ground and the sidewalks are icy and you have to walk up a hill to get to class?

            Answer: Wear sensible shoes
